Leigh Stitz
Dr Leigh Stitz has managed the Fitzroy Basin Report Card on Ecosystem Health for nearly four years. In its 10th year, the Fitzroy Partnership for River Health was established to provide independent, transparent reporting on waterway health to the community. The Partnership has evolved during this time to include citizen science programs, to support research and to engage with a range of stakeholders. Leigh comes from an academic and research background, specialising in freshwater ecology, with a particular interest in better using biological indicators to assess ephemeral stream systems.
